Nature’s four seasons support a constant Transformational Cycle of birth and death. We are a part of nature and therefore integrally connected to Transformational Cycles, whether we see it or not. Consciously and mindfully engaging in the Transformational Cycle below yields better and more profound results. We can use the metaphor of a garden and the four seasons to illustrate how the cycle operates.

A vision comes to us from deep within our souls while in the resting stage of winter. As spring emerges, we begin to look for fertile ground to plant the seeds of our vision with others. We then tend to our garden, which involves: learning what works, weeding out what doesn’t, and aligning ourselves with other gardeners who can provide us with insights and support on our way to mastery.

Seasons of Transformational Change

Depending on the ambition of our vision, there can be steep learning curves and seemingly endless trials and errors until we can see something growing. If we persist, we eventually reach autumn and harvest the fruits of our labor. We have embedded our vision into the world.
